Swaddling Soothes Newborns and Can Reduce Crying by recreating the familiar, comforting snugness of the womb. Swaddling also reduces the incidence of the startle reflex, which can upset babies and increase the frequency of crying.

Here's the size chart. We figured that the best way to determine the size is, to measure around baby's torso and arms, while he has his arms close to his body (like a swaddled baby). If SwaddleMe does not fit correctly around the torso, then either you can't close it, or it won't be tight enough and baby will get out his/her arms. Please note that this table is here to give you an idea which size fits best. If baby's sizes are close to a point when the SwaddleMe size changes, you might have to try which size fits best, as all babies are different, and as there's also a difference in materials - some stretch more, others stretch less.
